One of my photography professors in college once told me that there’s great art all around us… we just have to slow down and take a close look in order to notice it. My photographs are the best way that I can share how I see the world.
I find it fascinating how people can take a photograph at the same location and time, but their vision of the scene can look vastly different in their resulting images. How we view the world is uniquely us and that’s an important concept for any artist to keep in mind. We can pass by a common object or area of our hometown and never notice the real beauty of it.
Slow down and take a picture once in a while... and share it with the world. It's worth the extra effort.
