Here are some photos I took at Big Bend National Park. It still amazes me that scenes like these exist in the same state as Dallas.
About 30 minutes west of Marfa, Texas there's a "permanently installed sculpture" created by artists Elmgreen and Dragset. The sculpture is in the shape of a small building filled with an assortment of genuine Prada products picked out and provided by Miuccia Prada herself from the fall/winter 2005 collection. It's definitely one of the more bizarre things I've witnessed in the art world.
When you live in a big, bright city like Dallas you don't get to appreciate the Milky Way... because you simply can't see it. But when you're out in the middle of nowhere, somewhere between Marfa and Alpine, Texas, you get to take pictures like this one! Definitely a magnificent site to behold!
